Introduced in March 1996, the PowerMac 5260 replaced the 5200, adding a
faster 100 MHz PPC 603e processor. In September, the 5260/120 was
released, with a 120 MHz PPC 603e processor and 16 MB of RAM. The 5260 was
also sold as the Performas 5260CD, 5270CD and 5260/120, and was
discontinued in March 1997. |
